Abbas Alnasrawi, Co-Founder and Former President of the MEEA Passes Away

It is with great sadness that the MEEA announces that Dr. Abbas Alnasrawi, Economics Professor Emeritus at the University of Vermont and one of the founders and a former executive secretary and president of MEEA, has passed away on August 20, 2009.  He was a distinguished scholar who helped turn the MEEA into a recognized international organization.
