To submit a paper, please go to the Meeaweb Portal by clicking here . If you have already registered and paid your memebership fees, you will be able to submit your one-page abstract. Otherwise, you will need to register and pay your memebership dues in order to submit your papers.
Submission fee is US$25 plus the 2010 membership dues (US$25.00 for regular member, US$20 for students, and US$10 for member residing in the MENA region). According to ASSA rules, you can not present a paper without being a member in the association.
Deadline for the receipt of Abstract and Fees: April 15, 2010

Note: Please submit abstracts only if you are certain that you will take part in the meeting. Only members in good standing can participate in the program.
Decisions for inclusion in the conference will be made by mid-June. Selection criteria by order of importance include: (1) the quality, interest and potential significance of the proposed paper, (2) seeming familiarity of the author with the relevant literature, (3) the timeliness and originality of the subject matter; (4) the quality of past presentations (if any) in MEEA and responsible participation, especially absence of a "no show" history, after accepting to present a paper or to serve as a discussant or session chair; (5) compatibility of the proposed paper with others chosen for inclusion, (6) the extent to which the proposal makes reference to (or may be relevant to) more than one country of the region, (7) and frequency of past presentations (a preference for new participants and neglected countries). Proposals for complete sessions (four to five papers each, with discussants) are also invited but should be accompanied by abstracts of all papers and submission and membership fees by March 31, 2009
